CAIRO - A major Cairo Metro station Friday appeared without the name of former president Hosni Mubarak in an apparent compliance with a court ruling issued Thursday ordering the removing of the toppled leader and that of his wife from all public places and instiutions across Egypt. The signs in the busy station in central Cairo appeared without the name of Mubarak, No new name has yet been placed instead though the station is most likely to be renamed the Martyrs' Station to commemorate Egyptians killed in an anti-Mubarak revolution. Hundreds of public instiutions and squares were named after Mubarak who ruled Egypt for nearly 30 years.
