CAIRO - About 455 expatriate workers returned from Libya Sunday on board of two EgyptAir aircraft that carried them from Tunis, Cairo airport officials said. The 455 returnees had to fight their way into war-torn western Libyan cities to reach the Tunisian border town of Garba, where the two Egyptian planes were waiting to fly them home, the officials said. About 210 angry workers have staged a sit in at the airport's Terminal 3 (T3) to protest against a delay in receiving their luggage that was left behind in Garba airport, they said, adding that they were contacting the Tunisian officials to fly the luggage back to Cairo shortly.
