CAIRO, April 8, 2018 - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri is due to hold talks with his Cypriot counterpart Nicos Christodoulides in Cairo on Tuesday to discuss bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in all fields. The meeting is also due to cover issues of mutual concern, including the developments of the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and in Syria as well as combating terrorism. The two top diplomats are expected to hold a joint press conference at the end of their talks in Cairo tomorrow. The Cypriot foreign minister's visit tomorrow is his first to Egypt since he took office in the new Cypriot government last February.
