Siemens Egypt, Al-Attal, Sigma to establish first residential complex in NAC that operates using AI and metaverses
Published in Daily News Egypt on 28 - 06 - 2022

Siemens Egypt signed an agreement with Al-Attal Holding and Sigma for smart cities to establish the first residential complex in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) to use AI and metaverse technology to reduce operating costs, raise maintenance efficiency, and improve performance.
This will be done through the establishment of an electronic platform that contributes to reducing energy consumption, predicting faults, and handling operating errors.
Also, a contract was signed to implement the BMS control system for residential and commercial buildings and the SCADA infrastructure system, which provides the information and data necessary to establish a central control room.
Through the central control room, data and information are analysed using AI, meanwhile, metaverse technology will perform remote operation and maintenance.
CEO of Siemens Egypt Mostafa Al-Bagoury said that this project is a constructive step to draw a roadmap for digital transformation, develop the skills of cadres in the construction and real estate development sector, and open the construction sector to the latest technological solutions for more efficient and sustainable operating mechanisms.
For his part, Ahmed Al-Attal — Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Al-Attal Holding — said that this cooperation agreement enhances the company's vision to establish residential complexes aiming to provide a better life and real value to customers.
"The company always seeks to use the best technology for smart cities to build more sustainable residential complexes, save energy, and manage operations and maintenance according to the latest technology in smart cities," he added.
Finally, Ahmed Al-Zayat — Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Sigma — said that the partnership with Siemens Egypt and Al-Attal Holding Company will contribute to creating a new concept for the management and operation of residential complexes using AI and metaverse technology to reduce energy costs used in infrastructure and raise the efficiency of operations by relying on information and data analysis.
