Amanleek wins $200,000 in Fintech Startup Seed Challenge
Published in Daily News Egypt on 31 - 05 - 2022

Orange Egypt announced that the Egyptian startup "AmanLeek" won the Fintech Startup Seed Challenge 2022 with a financial value of $200,000.
The competition was launched by Orange Egypt in cooperation with the Orange Ventures investment fund of the International Orange Group. It is one of the most important competitions in the field of supporting promising entrepreneurs and innovative visionaries in Egypt to enhance their businesses.
Amanleek is a digital platform that seeks to enhance the field of insurance and works to provide a simple and direct experience for customers through innovative digital solutions and insurance plans that suit their needs. This ultimately contributes to raising the share of this huge financial industry in the Egyptian economy. Amanleek won the challenge across all of Egypt after it managed to pass a highly competitive selection process and comprehensive and accurate tests submitted to it by hundreds of startups. It was supervised by a specialized jury of experts in this field.
The challenge aims to support startups in the seed stage, which is the most important fundraising round in the formation stages of any ambitious company. The challenge particularly supports companies that collected less than €1m, working in various sectors, including digital projects, cyber security, financial technology, games, education technology, e-commerce and others.
On this occasion, Noel Chateau, Executive Vice President of Development and Quality Sector at Orange Egypt, expressed his happiness with the 2022 season of the Fintech Startup Seed Challenge reaching its final decisive stage by announcing the victory of Amanleek , wishing the best luck to all participants in the challenge. He also congratulated the winning company and hoped that its success would motivate many innovators to strive to achieve their ambitions and goals.
He continued, "Egypt is witnessing a clear boom in the innovation and entrepreneurship sector, as it ranked second in Africa in the field of investment capital, and we believe that partnering with startups such as Amanleek will provide the best experiences for our customers. This is why we are proud of the Fintech Startup Seed Challenge and many other initiatives launched by the Orange Group that play a major role in supporting and promoting startups and presenting them to the Egyptian market and beyond, and the tech business community."
