"Egypt Welcomes Its Guests" campaign reaches nearly 60 million social media users: ETPB

"Egypt Welcomes Its Guests" campaign has reached nearly 60 million users of social networking sites in the targeted countries, and attracted nearly 157 million views, according to Amr Al-Kady, CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board (ETPB)
"Egypt Welcomes Its Guests" is an electronic campaign launched by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in April on Facebook and Instagram, to show new facilities in the entry and visa procedures. The campaign targets Kazakhstan, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, South Africa, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia.
According to Al-Kady, the campaign reached 5 million users and achieved 11 million views in Kazakhstan, while in Algeria, it reached nearly 13 million users and achieved 52 million views.
"In Saudi Arabia, it reached nearly 7.5 million users, and the number of views reached 17 million, while it reached nearly 1.8 million users and achieved 5.6 million views in Kuwait, and in the United Arab Emirates, it reached nearly 3.9 million users, and it achieved 9 million views," Al-Kady revealed.
He said that in South Africa it has nearly 5.2 million users and 9.9 million views, and in Azerbaijan it has nearly 2.4 million users and 4.3 million views.
Al-Kady continued that In Georgia the campaign reached nearly 2 million users and achieved 5.8 million views, and in Armenia it reached nearly 1.3 million users and achieved 4 million views.
It should be noted that the total number of nationalities that can obtain a tourist visa at the Egyptian ports of entry has reached more than 180 nationalities, provided that a valid and used visa for the countries of England – America – Schengen "European Union" – JapanNew ZealandCanadaAustralia is present on the passport.
Moreover, the number of nationalities that can obtain the emergency tourist visa at the Egyptian ports or electronically has reached 78 nationalities around the world, with other special facilities for some additional nationalities in case of direct access to the cities of Sharm El-Sheikh and Taba, provided that they have a return ticket, a reservation for residence and a credit card, or what covers their stay in Egypt.
