EGYPS 2018 will host three-day technical and two-day strategic business conference including a special focus on finance and investment, plus a newly launched Security and HSE in Energy Conference, with a one day women's conference in energy, according to EGYPS release.
In the same context, EGYPS 2018 to launch the ‘Women In Energy Awards' a program created to celebrate excellence and honour women who demonstrated competence in the oil and gas sector in Egypt and North Africa through three award categories, EGYPS said.

For his part, Minister of petroleum, Tarek EL Malla said that 2018 edition comes at a crucial time when we are witnessing significant developments in the energy sector in Egypt.
Further more, he expects drilling of about 230 exploration wells worth $2 bn throughout 2018, and investments worth $27.3 bn across the Zohr, North Alexandria and Noras gas fields, as well as 83 newly-signed, upstream exploration concessions worth approximately $15.5 billion.
