Sherif Ismail inaugurates "Egypt Can" event for women
The event was endorsed by Al-Sisi and was attended by prominent Egyptian women

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail inaugurated the "Egypt Can" for Women on Sunday, with the participation of Egyptian women scientists and experts working abroad.
30 outstanding ladies participated in the conference, who serve in various leading positions in different countries around the world.
The event was organised by the Ministry of Emigration and Egyptian Expats' Affairs in cooperation with the National Council for Women, and under the endorsement of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
In his speech in the "Egypt Can" women's conference, Sherif thanked all the Egyptian women working abroad who accepted the invitation to participate in the event.

The conference aimed to serve Egypt's interests, the premier said, voicing confidence in the Egyptian women awareness of challenges facing their country in this critical stage of its history.

By taking part in this gathering, Egyptian women are sending a clear message about the need for everyone to unite to outline effective policies and reach successful solutions to chronic and old problems, Ismail noted.
Egyptian people, he added, are fully aware of the importance of latest tough reform measures.
He told participants his government sees, in this conference, a chance to benefit from these women's valuable contributions to mega projects.
At the event, Ambassador Nabila Makram, Minster of Emigration and Egyptian Expats' Affairs, noted that this conference reflects the words of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, that 2017 would be the year of the Egyptian woman. She added that the event is a remarkable model of the fruitful cooperation between the ministry and the National Council for Women.
Makram stated that the objective of the conference is to benefit from the experiences of these Egyptian women, who excelled in various fields and have reached remarkable achievements in their careers abroad, in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development of Egypt 2030 Vision.
It is worth mentioning that many prominent governmental officials participated in the event including Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Dr Ghada Wali, Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Hala Al Sayed, Minister of Planning, Nadia Abdo, Governor of Beheira, and Dr. Ahmed Emad El Din, Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar, Minster of Higher Education, General Mohamed El Assar, Minister of Military Production, and Engineer Tarek Nabil, Minister of Trade and Industry.
