Bavarian Auto Group holds the 11th BMW Golf Tournament

CAIRO: Bavarian Auto Group organized the 11th BMW Golf Tournament in Egypt with the participation of 190 players.
A part of the BMW International Golf Cup, the BMW Golf Tournament in Egypt has become an exciting event, eagerly awaited by Golf lovers from year to year. Bavarian Auto Group - BMW, MINI and Rolls Royce importer and assembler in Egypt, has always been keen to hold the annual tournament since its first year in the market.
The tournament was held at the Katameya Heights Resort.
Each tournament constitutes a round of the BMW International Golf Cup and is organized by BMW dealers all over the world. Winners of each tournament are chosen to compete at the finals.
The BMW International Golf Cup started in 1987 and has become the largest amateur golf championship in the world. This year, the finals will be held in Sydney, Australia, at the New South Wales Resort, from Dec. 3 to 8.
After an exciting tournament, that was concluded with an elegant ceremony, Farid El Tobgui, executive board member of Bavarian Auto Group, and Khaled Abou Taleb, head of the Arab and Egyptian Golf Association, distributed the prizes to the winners together with Ralf Follmann, general manager BMW Brand, Bavarian Auto Group.
The first winners of the three different categories were: Ashraf Hamdy in Division A Men, Mohamed Khedr in Division B Men and Sophie Bernard in Division C Ladies.
Mr. Tobgui expressed his delight for the tournament s success saying: It is at times like this when you feel the joy of success and uniqueness, that your immense efforts become worthwhile. Holding this tournament each year aligns with our strategy to take part in our clients lives and special moments. This event offers us the chance to join our clients, whilst experiencing their special moments of joy and success.
Bavarian Auto Group was also keen to treat BMW lovers by displaying a number of BMW amazing models at the event, including a new version of the BMW 5 Series and SAV (the BMW X3).
