Boujelbene close to Zamalek switch
Published in Daily News Egypt on 27 - 01 - 2009

CAIRO: Tunisian midfielder Anis Boujelbene claims he is close to join Zamalek from Ahly in the winter break.
Speaking to Tunisian radio station Jawhara FM, the 30-year-old confirmed recent reports linking him with a move to the White Knights.
I reached an agreement with Zamalek to join them in January, they should only pay a compensation fee to Ahly and then I am free to go, said Boujelbene.
I will be very happy to play for a great club like Zamalek. I will be the first Tunisian to play for Egypt s top two teams as well.
Bouja was linked with a move to his former club Sfaxien, in addition to reported interest from Saudi Arabia s Hazm, but he opted for the Zamalek switch.
The Tunisian international went down the pecking order in Manuel Jose s roster since his surprise omission from last year s Club World Cup
On the other hand, Zamalek are in search of a defensive midfielder amid the ongoing problems of some of their first team players.
Meanwhile, Zamalek are set to sign Mansoura youngster Ibrahim Salah after both clubs agreed terms on Tuesday.
We reached an agreement with Mansoura for the transfer of Ibrahim Salah, Zamalek marketing director Khaled Refaat told FilGoal.com.
The player will officially sign on Thursday.
Zamalek have already signed Mansoura marksman Mohamed Al-Morsi, who starred for the second-tier side in the Egyptian Cup this season.
