The Egyptian Center for Public Opinion Research (Baseera) has conducted their second poll about President Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi's approval rate after 100 days in the palace. Baseera conducted a poll about the president approval rate after 80 days in the palace. The president's approval rate poll after 100 days reflects stability in Egyptians' evaluation of the president's performance. Poll results after 100 days reveal that 82% of Egyptians approve Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi's performance (58% highly approve and 24% approve) while 5% disapprove (3% highly disapprove and 2% disapprove) and 13% said that they can't decide. The comparison of these results with the results of the poll that had been conducted on the former president Morsi's approval after 100 days in the office shows that the difference in the approval rate reaches 4% (78% for Morsi compared to 82% for Al-Sisi). The highest difference between their approval rates appears in the percentage of those who highly approve their performance. The percentage of those who highly approved Morsi's performance after 100 days in the palace was 29% and the percentage of those who approved it was 49%. These percentages reach for Al-Sisi 58% and 24% respectively. The percentage of those who highly approve Al-Sisi's performance increases from 53% among females to 63% among males. A higher difference was witnessed among age groups as the percentage increases from 41% among youths aged 18-29 years to 72% among those who aged 50 years or above. The percentage increased from 51% in Upper Egypt to 63% in Lower Egypt. The respondents were asked if they would vote for Al-Sisi if the presidential election were to be held tomorrow. Around 78% said they would vote for him, 8% said they would not vote for him and 14% said that this depends on the other candidates who will run against him. The percentage of those who said that they would vote for Morsi 100 days after being Egypt's president reached 58% while 18% said they would not vote for him and 24% said that this depends on the other candidates who will run against him. The percentage of Egyptians who would vote for him increases from 69% among youths aged 18-29 years to 86% among those who aged 50 years or above. This percentage decreases from 82% among those with less than intermediate education to 69% among those with university education. Polls Methodology: The Poll on the approval rate of Al-Sisi after 100 days in palace was conducted by using both mobile phones and landlines on a sample of 2009 citizens aged 18 years old or above, and covering all governorates. All phone interviews were conducted from 17 to 19 September, 2014. The response rate was about 51%, and the margin of error in the results is less than 3%. The poll on the approval rate of Morsi after 100 days in palace was conducted by using both mobile phones and landlines on a sample of 1,795 citizens aged 18 years old or above, and covering all governorates. All phone interviews were conducted from 3 to 4 October, 2012. Since the two polls were conducted using the same methodology, their results are comparable. The two polls were self-funded by Baseera as a part of its social responsibility activities.
