Nine games played: Egyptian Premier League report

Egyptian Premier League resumes with nine games played on Sunday and Monday.
Group B
Group B games were played on Sunday. In a strong game, Petrojet managed to defeat home team Haras Al-Hodoud 1-0 in Al-Max Stadium in Alexandria.
Ismaily beat Telephonat Beni Suef 3-1 on their home field, Ismailia Stadium.
Al-Qana succeeded to draw with home team Talaea' Al-Geish, 1-1.
In an even game, Al-Masry and Ittihad Al-Shorta drew 1-1 in Third Army Stadium in Suez.
The highlight of the Group B games was 2013 Egyptian Cup runners-up Wadi Degla beating Al-Minya 6-0 in 30 June Stadium in the Fifth Settlement.
The next Group B games will be held on Thursday. Al-Masry will face Wadi Degla while Al-Qana plays against Haras Al-Hedood. Telephonat Beni Suef will play against Talea'a Al- Geish.
Zamalek and Ismaily will show off in an Egyptian Classico in 30 June Stadium.
Ismaily leads the group's charts with six points, with Petrojet and Ittihad Al-Shorta behind them at four points each. Zamalek comes in fourth place with three points; however, the White Knights still have one game to play. Haras Al-Hedood and Telephonat Beni Suef are awarded the last two places with no points.
Group A
Group A matches were held the following day. Misr Al-Maqasa and Alexandrian Ittihad both failed to score, leading to a goal-less draw on Alexandria Stadium.
Al-Gouna defeated Al-Entag Al-Harby 1-0 on their home field in Hurghada.
Semouha succeeded to clinch a win when they defeated home team Ghazl Al-Mahalla 1-0 in Al-Mahalla Stadium.
Arab Contractors beat newly-promoted Al-Raga'a on Osman Ahmed Osman Stadium, 4-2.
Group A matches will resume on Saturday with Al-Dakhleya facing Al-Gouna and Masr Al-Maqassa playing against Al-Entag Al-Harby.
ENPPI will challenge Ghazl Al-Mahalla while Arab Contractors will host Alexandrian Ittihad.
Al-Ahly will travel to Alexandria to play against Semouha in Al-Max Stadium.
Masr Al-Maqassa is in first place with four points, followed by Arab Contractors who also hold four points. Al-Ahly is in third place with three points with one more game to play.
Al-Entag Al-Harby is in last place with zero points.
