Mansour claims Shikabala death threat
Published in Daily News Egypt on 20 - 09 - 2010

CAIRO: Further to his scathing attack on Shikabala, controversial attorney Mortada Mansour accused the Zamalek star of threatening to kill him during the Whites' 3-1 win over Smouha on Friday.
The 24-year-old schemer made a shushing gesture to ex-Zamalek president Masnour, who was spectating the game, and called on the fans to cheer for incumbent chief Mamdouh Abbas.
Shortly afterwards, Masnour assailed the Egypt international, branding him as 'ignorant' and 'decadent' among other harsh words.
Later on, he stated that not only did Shikabala insult him with gestures, but also issued a death threat on his way to the dugout in the Egyptian Premier League match.
"I reported Shikabala to the Prosecutor General because he threatened to kill me when he was substituted in the league game with Smouha," Mansour told FilGoal.com.
"Members of Smouha's board members and some reporters were eye witnesses. They heard and saw what he did."
Shikabala has been summoned by the police to be questioned on Monday about the alleged death threat.
Twins Tirade
Mansour also launched a tirade against twin brothers Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan, Zamalek coach and football director respectively, for not punishing Shikabala.
"They both didn't sanction Shikabala because they are afraid of Abbas," Mansour told Modern TV.
"Abbas is happy with what the player did and will not punish him. He just reprimanded him before his teammates.
"It's my first time to criticize Hossam and Ibrahim but what they did was not acceptable.
"They always talk about the club's principles but did nothing towards Shikabala's acts."
