For example, clients that need more than Fiber Optic connectivity, Metro will be capable to offer licensed microwave links just for them. For individuals, they will be provided for data via digital Fiber Cable and it will have redundant microwave links to ensure global internet access via all the three submarine cables (Seacom, Teams, and EASSY). The measure is designed to make Internet access always available in the case of cable cuts. The new Metro network extends in various areas such as Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Moshi, Mwanza, Shinyanga, Dodoma, Morogoro, Iringa, Mbeya, and Mtwara.
