Sheikh Feierstein (@SheikhFeierstei) is enchanting hundreds of internet savvy Yemeni on twitter, opening a window onto Yemen which very few have ever had the opportunity to look through. He is a Yemeni satirist icon of a comedian specialized in the old Yemeni folk tradition of political-analytical humor mixed with sentiments emanating from the Arab street. “Juha started as a way of expressing dissent, understanding a complex world and laughing at the problems of daily life, and became a folk hero. I aspire to be the next Juha or his donkey.” He published his very own version, of the “Dancing on the head of Snakes” an expression made famous by President Ali Abdullah Saleh when he referred to his political methods and approach to ruling. Bikyasmasr.com is now bringing you the exclusive, welcoming you into Sheikh Feierstein's world, an up and coming internet sensation.

Snake Dancing Rules: 1. If it's worth fighting for, it's worth fighting dirty for. 2. If you can't kill your opponents, cut off their electricity 3. An honest answer can get you into a lot of trouble; unless you have more weapons than the other guy 4. If at first you don't succeed, destroy or jail all the evidence. 5. If you steal, smart people will leave, so you will need to find stupid people to fund your robbing habit. 6. To combat political opposition: First you bribe them, then you spread discord among them, and you arrest whoever is left standing up. 7. Always remember to pillage before you burn. 8. Someone who thinks logically … is an entertaining contrast to popular media… and therefore must be arrested for spying! 9. Youth and intelligence are no match for experience and treachery. 10. Never give whiskey in public during the day as a Ramadan gift. It's always better to appear at the official's home at 6pm with the bottle of Johnny Walker as a gift for the breaking of fast. 11. When you can't bribe, kill, and when you can't kill, bribe. If it still doesn't work, tell US drone operators they are all Al-Qaeda militants. 12. This might be as bad as it gets, but don't count on it. 13. Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy people 14. You can never have too much Qat. If you get mouth cancer, you can always blame your rival for giving you the evil eye. 15. “Restructuring”: Definition: reconstructing the old structure so it continues to support you! 16. I don't have a problem with psychotic power addiction, I have a problem with protesters. 17. Aspiring Yemeni Politicians: 10% of your reputation will be ruined by lies, 90% of it will be ruined by the truth 18. People who can't take a good bribe must be marginalized; or they won't let you do your job! 19. How to fool those who want change: shuffle heads around, but stuff your friends' legs into all other key positions! 20. Lie to 90% of the population who are stupid enough to believe you and arrest the 10% that aren't.
