LAGOS: Leading pre and post-paid Internet and mobile Internet provider in Ghana, Tigo Ghana, is hoping to boost revenue through a new series of options recently launched for users. The move is to increase their client base as the telecom sector in the country continues to move forward, the company said in a press release on Wednesday. The company currently offers a number of services at what it says is “affordable, accessible” rates. Ghanaians are also optimistic that the telecom sector is moving forward to enable a broader base of citizens access to services. “It is a positive moment in Ghana,” IT and telecom specialist John Adu told Bikyamasr.com. He argues that “more competition has left many customers able to use more Internet time for similar rates and this will create a better overall market for the country.” Tigo tends to agree. “We provide services for people who want to stay in touch, to belong to communities and to be informed and entertained, enabling them to express their emotions and enhance their lives,” says the Tigo Ghana mission statement. “We focus on consistently meeting and exceeding customer's expectations and developing an inspirational brand.” BM ShortURL: http://goo.gl/U1Bfm Tags: Ghana, Telecom, Tigo Section: Tech, West Africa
