Tehran (dpa) – Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is to visit Tehran Wednesday for two days of talks with Iranian officials on recent international developments, including Iran's nuclear dispute with the West, the official IRNA news agency reported. Davutoglu will arrive in the evening and immediately start talks with his Iranian counterpart, Ali-Akbar Salehi. Afterwards he will attend a joint press conference at the Foreign Ministry in Tehran. On the agenda of the talks will be Turkey's mediation in the dispute over Iran's nuclear programs. Davutoglu will probably also declare readiness to host the talks again, as Turkey did last January, IRNA reported. The situation in Syria is also likely to come up. The Turkish minister is also scheduled to meet on Thursday with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad before leaving Iran.
