CAIRO: The Telecommunications Council of South Asia and the Middle East and North Africa (SAMENA) has granted Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) an award for best mobile broadband provider of 2011, while the company's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Khalid al-Kaf was granted an award for best business leader. According to a statement from SAMENA, Mobily was granted the award for their quality and excellence in telecom services for the whole region. Kaf was granted the award for his efforts in bringing his business to the Saudi Arabian market by providing them with integrated telecom services. Mobily was the first operator to launch a TD-LTE service. The company owns the largest 3G network in the Middle East and North Africa. Mobily provides full telecom solutions for both government and private sectors. BM
