CAIRO: A 19-year-old boy died after a police officer shot him following a verbal argument and wounded another young man in Qasr al-Aini street early evening on Friday, an eyewitness told Bikyamasr.com. The family of the young man set the police officer's car on fire starting a riot and the wounded man was taken to a hospital. The shooting happened just feet away from a massive demonstration in Tahrir square that started after the noon prayer to denounce the military rule of Egypt and mourn police torture victim Essam Atta, who died last night in prison after being tortured to death. Atta's body was moved from Saida Zeinab morgue in a large march with members of his family to Tahrir square where people were fired up, chanting, behind the casket. Large numbers of protesters headed towards the American embassy after Atta's body was taken for burial, in support of the Occupy Wall Street movement. ** More updates to follow from Bikyamasr.com BM
