Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 23 - 08 - 2012

Tourism Development Authority (TDA) will present lands on an area of 9 million meters to the investors next month for touristic investment by the sealed bid envelopes. This the first bid since the Egyptian revolution had broke out.
General Tarek Saad El Din, head of TDA, said the lands will be allocated in 3 touristic places; Ain Sukhna, Red Sea and Nabq in Sharm Al Sheikh, as a first phase of the authority's plan of presenting 28 million meters in these places.
In statements to Amwal Al Ghad, he said the authority for the first time will determine the use of the allocated lands for each project, as well the technical specifications. This will help in constructing comprehensive touristic centers not traditional ones.
The touristic projects, which will be presenting, are service, commercial and entertaining ones, as well curative tourism projects and shopping malls "Downtown".
The authority will present about 2.5 million meters in Ain Sukhna, 1.5 million meters in Nabq, and about 5 million meters in Red Sea.
Saad El Din said meter price will be determined according to some factors, such like the location, the soil and its need for settlement, and the available facilities.
He pointed out that the stability and eradicating lawlessness are the factors that will help on attracting interior and exterior investments.
