Egypt's stock market fell Wednesday with losses $204mn

Egypt's stock market ends Wednesday with losses estimated at 1.6 billion Egyptian pounds (US$ 204 million) despite local buying appetites.
The market capitalisation has recorded 389.315 billion pounds during the closing session of Wednesday.
Indices
Egypt's benchmark index, EGX30 dropped 0.83percent to 6054.03 points.
The EGX50 EWI index went down 0.72 percent to 1123.98 points.
EGX20 slumped 1.27percent to 6049.51 points.
In addition, the mid- and small-cap index EGX70 sagged 0.62 percent to 349.83 points. The price index, EGX100 dropped by 0.46 percent 715.15 points.
Turnovers Low
On Wednesday, the bourse's trading volume hit 134.663 million securities, with turnovers closed at 325.815 million pounds, exchanged through 18,061 thousand transactions.
Also during the closing session, 159 listed securities have been traded in; 27 declined, 94 advanced; while 37 kept their previous levels.
Investors' Activities
Foreign and Arab investors were net sellers Wednesday getting 6.96 percent and 4.22 percent respectively of the total markets, with a net equity of 4.852 million pounds and 8.297 million pounds, respectively, excluding the deals.
On the contrary, the Local investors were net buyers seizing 88.82 percent of the total market, with a net equity of 13.149 million pounds, excluding the deals.
