Egypt-based financial adviser, Eagle is planning to help list five firms' shares on the country's bourse for the small and medium-sized enterprises (NILEX) in the first half of 2016, its chairman announced Sunday.
Yasser Emara said five firms are with capitalisation totalling 23 million Egyptian pounds (US$3 million).
Emara further told Amwal Al Ghad that Eagle's talks with two shipping firms are at advanced stage. Eagle plans to advise listing 20 percent of those shipping firms' shares on NILEX before the end of the current quarter.
These two firms are with capitalisation of 3 million pounds and 2.5 million pounds, respectively, he added.
Moreover, Eagle is also negotiating with three other firms to list their shares on NILEX. One of those firms is operating in the communications and information technology sector, with capitalisation worth 2.5 million pounds.
The two other firms are working in the agricultural manufacturing, with capitalisation amounting to 10 million pounds and 5 million pounds, respectively.
