Barclays Egypt Hosts Ceremony For Commercial Banking And Corporate Credit Risk

Barclays Bank Egypt held a festive ceremony to recognize Commercial Banking and Corporate Credit Risk colleagues who have successfully completed an intensive 8-month credit course program to become certified Credit Officers. The event was held at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza in the presence of the 35 course graduates, their line manager and members of BBE Leadership Team.
During the two-hour event, Omar Elsayeh, BBE Chairman and Edward Marks, Interim Managing Director awarded the graduates their certificates. Additionally, Edward Marks delivered a motivational speech praising and congratulating the graduates for their dedication and achievement.
Marks stated, “The Barclays credit course programme is offered exclusively to Barclays colleagues to reinforce and support their interest in differentiating themselves for a successful career path, while at the same time using their knowledge and expertise to better serve Barclays customers."
"The credit course aims to equip colleagues with the essential tools and techniques to strengthen and enhance their technical and analytical skills to achieve optimal performance. Through the knowledge acquired during the credit course, Barclays employees have built a solid foundation for performing sound financial analysis and enhancing their ability to use financial findings to reach practical conclusions on performance and credit worthiness", said Ayman Mahana- Director of Human Resources at Barclays Egypt.
The programme reflects Barclays Egypt's commitment to providing support and training to employees as well as acknowledging outstanding employees who continuously strive to develop and strengthen their abilities in order to provide a quality banking experience for customers.
