EGX 30 Nears 7500 on Tuesday

Egypt's bourse ended sessions on Tuesday with gains totaled 4.4 Egyptian pounds bolstered by local buying appetite. Accordingly, the country's main bourse index ended near 7500 points.
The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices were wavering in green notes on Tuesday afternoon.
Indices
Egypt's benchmark index EGX30 ended 0.14 per cent higher to 7498.66 pts; while EGX20 finished 0.14 per cent up to 8915.42 pts.
Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 climbed by 2.17% to close at 623.92 pts. The price index EGX100 inched up by 1.59 per cent to conclude at 1063.44 pts.
Furthermore, the market capitalization recorded EGP 465.108 billion on Tuesday.
Turnovers
Through the closing session of Tuesday, the trading volume has reached 228.316 million securities, with turnovers worth EGP 829.238 million, exchanged through 36.404 thousand transactions.
Also during the closing session, 189 listed securities have been traded in; 75 declined, 96 advanced; while 18 keeping their previous levels.
Investors' Activities
Egyptians were net buyers capturing 88.08% of the total market, with a net equity of EGP 15.955 million, excluding the deals.
On the contrary, Arabs and the non-Arab foreigners were net sellers seizing 6.49% and 5.42% respectively of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 5.405 million and 10.549 million respectively, excluding the deals.
Companies' Activities
At the EGX30, Cairo-based investment bank EFG-Hermes Holding (HRHO.CA) saw its share price decline by 0.26 percent to EGP 11.37.
Market bellwether Commercial International Bank S.A.E. (COMI.CA) fell 0.30 percent to EGP 33.30.
In the real estate sector, Palm Hills Development Company (PHDC.CA) rose by 0.62 percent to trade at EGP 3.22, Talaat Moustafa Group Holding (TMGH.CA) went up by 0.69 percent to trade at EGP 7.30, and Sixth of October Development and Investment Co S.A.E – SODIC (OCDI.CA) tumbled 1.51 percent to close at EGP 23.53.
