Hair Salons in Cairo: Christophe and Paul
Published in Almasry Alyoum on 21 - 10 - 2010

More and more hairdressers are conquering the fashion and hairstyling arena in Cairo. The rising trend has left many women undecided as to where to go and whom to choose.
Al-Masry Al-Youm has launched a second quest to discover the best hairstylists in town. Here are our recommendations:
In new Garana, on Cairo/Alex desert road, a new French beauty center opened a few weels ago. Christophe's caters to those who appreciate elegance and the expertise of a French stylist.
The young French stylist is specialized in weddings hair styling and chignons--rare to find these days. If it is a haircut, coloring or highlights you are looking for, you can find it as well at Christophe's. L'Oreal is the hair dye used. There is a manicurist and pedicurist available as well.
Christophe is a salon for women, men and children and it offers a discount for students under 25. If you are a Garana, Solaimaniya, or City View resident, this is the place for you.
The center receives guests Tuesday through Saturday from 11AM to 8PM.
La Villa in Dokki is another hair and beauty destination in the capital. The salon is run by French hair specialist Paul. Rumor has it that Paul is the personal hair stylist for the first lady. The location of the salon is convenient for residents of Mohandessein and Garden City as well.
The salon has two manicurists; there is also staff for waxing. The receptionist speaks two or three languages as the salon receives many foreign ladies. La villa uses the best dye brands such as L'oreal and Chi. A normal brushing costs around 60LE--average price in the market nowadays.
There is also a make-up artist available but you have to notify the salon beforehand. The same applies for the masseuse. Paul also offers the best hair straightening in town.
