Cairo - Sheikh Ahmad at-Tijânî, Sheikh of the Tijaniyya Sufi order, stated that all Sufi orders denounce the threats made by terrorist ISIS/Daesh against Dr. Abdel Rahim Ali along with staff and employees of Al-Bawaba News, a powerful platform that has been exposing terrorist ploys in Egypt since its inception. Defiant Egyptian MP, Abdel Rehim Ali, a renowned writer and columnist, has always been on terrorist groups' "hit lists" due to his firm stances and vocal opposition to terrorism in the name of religion. "All Sufi Orders stand by the side of Dr. Abdel Rahim Ali and Al-Bawaba News staff and employees in the existential battle of eliminating these criminal gangs and terrorist," at-Tijânî added in a statement for Al-Bawaba News portal. IS has issued a threat directly against the Al-Bawaba News after publishing reports that reveal the organization's plots that target Egypt and the Arab region at large. Through their media platform, supporters of the terrorist group have been circulating pictures of a previous report by Al-Bawaba News about "the formation of new cells for organization in addition to the lone-wolves strategy," demanding the administration of the largest forum of ISIS fans and sympathizers to find out who "spies for this newspaper by threatening them with the mantra: ‘We are coming to slaughter you'. Al-Bawaba News has always been in the vanguard of warning and fending off potential terrorist operations across Egypt. Previously, the newspaper warned of the church bombings before the "Bloody Palm Sunday" when two suicide bombers struck hours apart at two Coptic churches in northern Egypt (Tanta and Alexandria), killing at least 44 people and turning Palm Sunday services into scenes of horror. Al-Bawaba News also published details about the then-newly-founded organization of Da'ash's loyalists inside Egypt, as well as other details about the organization of terrorist Wilayat Sinai.
