Cairo - The fatwa monitoring observatory at Dar al-Iftaa condemned Nigerian Boko Haram extremist militia for attacking military and security forces, as they killed nine military persons and a civilian. The observatory warned that that the extremist group works to use the lack of religious knowledge in the poor districts to promote their extremist ideas among the youth to recruit them in their groups. The observatory called the international community for taking serious measures to counter the waves of extremism in all over the world, stressing the need for cooperating between the different countries to contain the phenomenon. The observatory underlined the efforts exerted by Egypt's Al-Azhar to send delegations to the African countries to correct misperceptions and to confront the extremist ideas promoted by the extremist groups.
