China FAW Group Corporation considers injecting investments into Egypt's auto market, Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabil asserted on Monday. He made the remarks during a meeting with Board Chairman of FAW Group Corporation Xianping Xu. The talks tackled the future of automotive industry in Egypt and incentives provided by the government to automakers seeking to access the Egyptian market, the Industry Ministry said in a statement. The Chinese company will dispatch technical missions to stand on available investment opportunities in the Egyptian market during the coming period, Qabil noted. The state aims to develop the national auto industry through reducing reliance on assembly industries, Qabil added, asserting the new investment law offers incentive packages with regard to the auto industry in all governorates and industrial zones across the nation. FAW Group looks forward to injecting investments in the Egyptian auto market which is a unique investment market in the region, Xianping Xu said.
