Sydney - Ashraf Helmy, a Coptic thinker living in Australia, condemned the terrorist attack that hit the Manchester Arena concert, killing 22 people and wounding dozens of others. Helmy expressed his condolences to the British people for the tragic incident that has shocked the international community. He expressed that this is a result of providing a safe haven for the Muslim Brotherhood group, which supports terrorist groups and movements such as Hamas, al-Qaeda and ISIL all over the world, making some of the communities a hub for their terrorist operations. Helmy called upon governments that incubate and harbor Islamist groups belonging to Wahhabi, Salafist, and jihadist ideology, and to be aware that these groups that will keep on planning terrorist attacks in these countries.
