Damietta (Egypt) - President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed his keenness to preserve the rights of citizens in the country by protecting the state's administered territories. He made this statement during the inauguration of major projects in the Damietta governorate. El-Sisi said that he will not allow Egyptian lands to be neglected. He added, "As long as I am alive, I will not let anyone take a piece of Egypt's territory." The president continued saying that, "Some people illegally confiscated state territory, thinking that they are above the law and rights [of others]." He added, "No one is above the law or above rights, and those who violate the law will be prosecuted." "At the end of this month, I will hold a meeting with governors, security managers, army leaders and 20 young men from every governorate to discuss the progress in the issue of regaining state territory," he said during his speech at the opening of development projects in Damietta. The opening of a number of major national projects in Damietta include: Damietta Furniture City, Damietta Military Hospital in New Damietta City, an Emergency Hospital and a number of residential buildings completed in the Dar Misr project. The president is in Damietta to witness the inauguration of other major national projects including the Damietta Military Hospital in New Damietta City, Emergency Hospital and a number of completed residential buildings in Dar Misr project.
