Amman - Arab leaders meet in Jordan for a summit seeking common ground to reaffirm their commitment to a Palestinian state and regional peace. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a series of meetings with a number of Arab leaders and the UN secretary general ahead of the 28th Arab Summit on Wednesday in Amman. President Sisi met Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al Abadi and UN Secretary General António Guterres, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said. He met Prince Ghazi bin Mohammed, the cousin of King Abdullah II of Jordan, to discuss the issue of inter-religious dialogue, the spokesman added. President Sisi is expected to deliver Egypt's speech at the Arab Summit. The Egyptian leader held talks also with King Abdullah II of Jordan, King Mohammed VI of Morocco and Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi, Youssef concluded.
