Trevor Brooks, also known as Abu Izzadeen, was mistakenly accused by social media as the London terror attack suspect, before the British media announced that he was serving a two-year sentence handed down in January 2016. Izzadeen was sent to jail for breaching antiterrorism law, being a member of Al Ghurabba as well as al-Muhajiroun groups. Al-Muhajiroun was among the terror groups outlawed by legislation in the wake of the 7/7 bombings in Britain. It had been officially disbanded in 2004 leading followers to move to other organisations, including Al Ghurabba. Omar Bakri Muhammad and Anjem Choudary are known to have led Al-Muhajiroun. Bakri founded Al-Muhajiroun in Mecca, Saudi Arabia on 3 March 1983. In June 2009, the organisation officially re-launched itself in the United Kingdom, under the alias "Islam4UK", and in 2014 as "Need4Khilafah". In June 2014, the UK government banned three more groups it suspected of being aliases for the extremist organisation, including Need4Khilafah, the Shariah Project; and the Islamic Dawah Association.
