Cairo - Libyan army commander Khalifa Haftar said that Libya's war against the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group and its supporters is a modest effort in comparison with what the Egyptian army did against the terrorist group. In an interview with ON Live TV channel, he added that the Egyptian army foiled MB plots in Egypt and Libya. He asserted that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi confronted the terrorist group in the right time. Haftar asserted that without Cairo's support, Libya would not have regained its strength once again, adding that Egypt had also politically supported Libya in all international arenas. He added that the Libyan army is controlling all Libyan interests including oil and natural gas. He reiterated his rejection of any foreign interference in Libya. He also pointed out that the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group is targeting the Libyan army and police as well as judges.
