Family of a victim killed in 2015 Paris attacks by ISIS sue Google, Facebook and Twitter, alleging the social media giants have aided ISIS and other groups by allowing them to use their channels to recruit members and coordinate attacks, Blooberg reported. The family think those social media platforms are profiting from terrorism and they added that the companies created "original content" by tying advertisements to ISIS-supported posts and generating revenue from them. Nohemi Gonzalez, 23, was a senior studying industrial design abroad in Paris at the time the terrorist attacks happened. She would have been the first member of her family to graduate from college. Gonzalez family also alleges that social media outlets have done little to permanently remove ISIS backers from their sites. The complaint cites a Twitter user with the handle "DriftOne00146" that was removed 145 times before being reintroduced for a 146th iteration.
