State Litigation Authority announced that will appeal against the decision of Administrative Court to annul the Egyptian-Saudi deal in which the Egyptian government announced Saudi sovereignty on two disputed islands of Tiran and Sanafir in the Red Sea, Youm7 reported. "The ruling ignored all the evidences presented by the state that proves the Saudi sovereignty on the islands," judicial source told Youm7, affirming that the parliament is the only body that has the authority to rule this dispute. A number of lawyers and political activities have filed 14 lawsuits against the Egyptian government, saying that handing down of the two islands contradicts with 2014 Constitution.
