Spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid expressed the condolences of Egypt to the families of the victims and the French government and people in official statement released Wednesday. "The sinful hand of terrorism does not distinguish between different religions, ethnicities and nationalities and that the spread of this hateful phenomenon carries grave consequences for the international community," the statement reads. Abu Zeid reiterated Egypt's call for international partners to stand in solidarity to fight terrorism and eliminate its roots.
