Ismailia Criminal Court sentenced the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie and 35 others to life in prison on Monday, over violence-related accusations, al-Masry al-Youm News reported. The court handed 15 years in prison to 9 other convicts, 10 years to other 20, 3 years to 20 convicts, and acquitted 20 others in the case publicly known as "Ismailia Incidents." The incidents date back to July 5, 2013, when the defendants mobbed in front of the Ismailia Province Headquarters, leaving three police personnel killed, dozens injured and public properties sabotaged. The convicts are charged with inciting violence, killing three police personnel, disturbing public peace and sabotaging public properties.
