Azhar's Grand Imam Ahmed Al Tayeb left Cairo International Airport on Monday heading to Nigeria to conduct a three-day visit to the African state, Youm7 reported. The Egyptian top cleric is scheduled to meet with a number of Nigerian senior officials, including the Nigerian president and his prime minister. Tayeb will discuss the ways to promote the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence to combat the extremist ideas used by the terrorist groups to spread the violence.
