Security forces tightened their measures in the surrounding area of Press Syndicate's headquarters hours before the General Assembly urgent meeting scheduled to be held on Wednesday, Youm7 News reported. The meeting comes in response to the storming of the syndicate by the security forces on Sunday to arrest two journalists. The meeting will be attended by the council board of the syndicate and editors-in-chief of Egyptian newspapers, where they will take the necessary measures and declare their decision to respond to the security raid against the highest press body in Egypt.
