Libyan columnist Abdel Basset ben Hamel revealed that the 16 Egyptian illegal immigrants who were killed Wednesday were victims of local avenge by three Libyan families in Bani Walid area, Al-Bawaba News reported. "It was a misunderstanding by the families of the three Libyans who were murdered by the 16 Egyptian illegal immigrants," Ben Hamel added, pointing out that the incident has no civil or terror backgrounds as Bani Walid is not under the control of Fajr Libya militias. At least 16 Egyptians were killed and others were injured during a fight erupted with their smuggling intermediaries in the Libyan town.
