Egyptian Minister of Water Resources, Mohamed Abdel Aati held a meeting Thursday with groundwater experts from Cairo University over maximizing the use of groundwater and recycling Wastewater, Al-Bawaba News reported. In the meeting, Abdel Aati reviewed the strategic impact on the national and regional arenas using ground water. He signaled to the necessity of launching a network of separators for recycling the wastewater systems in the new cities to reduce treatment expenses. Groundwater experts affirmed that detailed studies based on field standards will provide a collective conclusion for amount of secured percentage that could be extracted from groundwater basins.
