At least a dozen people were wounded in the southern Turkish city of Kilis on Monday by two rockets fired from Syria, less than a day after five Katyusha rockets from across the border wounded another 12 people. "Police units, health and search and rescue personnel were deployed to the scene," Turkish Hurriyet Daily News reported, without giving details of the latest attack. Among the 12 victims on Sunday, one was wounded seriously. "One person among the injured is in a serious condition," the official Anadolu Agency quoted Kilis Governor Suleyman Tapsiz as saying. Turkish artillery retaliated by shelling positions inside Syria from where the rockets were fired, according to Anadolu. Kilis, near the Syrian border, has been targeted several times by conflicting parties in Syria. Last month, a four-year-old child and one other person were killed in the province by eight rockets launched from across the border.
