The Lebanese Army Intelligence Wednesday seized rockets and arrested three suspects during a raid on houses in the Bekaa Valley, the state-run National News Agency reported. The news agency said that an intelligence patrol raided several homes in the towns of Fakiha and Ras Baalbek, detaining three after seizing "sophisticated weaponry," which reportedly included rockets. The three suspects were not identified. Separately, NNA said that army intelligence also arrested a Syrian man over alleged links to "terrorist organizations" in the northern town of Zghorta. This terror suspect is among many Syrians and Lebanese nationals who have been arrested in Lebanon as security forces crack down on militant groups. A Lebanese was also arrested over drug dealing in the same area.
