The Military Court Thursday indicted 20 people for belonging to extremist militant organizations, the state-run National News Agency reported. Military Investigative Judge Fadi Sawan indicted 19 people on charges of belonging to ISIS and the Al-Qaeda linked Nusra Front. The 19 men were said to be from both Lebanese and Syrian nationalities and had participated in fighting in Arsal, Wadi Khaled and Tripoli in northern Lebanon. Military Prosecutor Saqr Saqr, meanwhile, charged a man for four different crimes, which included killing Lebanese soldiers and belonging to an extremist militant organization. The NNA said Saqr charged a man, known as Abu Malik Sara for booby-trapping and transferring vehicles, including the car which exploded in the southern suburbs of Beirut on Feb. 2014. Saqr referred Sara to the First Military Investigative Judge.
