Minister of Antiquities, Mamdouh El-Damati will hold a press conference in the Ministry's headquarter on Tuesday, to announce details of the annually global celebration events hold on the 21 and 22 of February, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday. The celebration will include the celebration of the golden Jubilee of the transfer of the Abu Simbel temples in Aswan well as the sun passes over the statue of King Ramses II, which is expected to continue till three. The celebration activities will include folklore performances of folk arts groups from different provinces as well as several Nubian performances. It's expected that Minister of Antiquities, Mamdouh El-Damati, Minister of Tourism, Hisham Zazou and Aswan governor, Maj. Gen. Magdy Hegazy as well as a large number of tourists to attend the ceremony. The celebration comes in the framework of ancient Egyptians celebrating the first day of the harvest season.
