The outlawed Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group's supporters demonstrated on Friday without prior permit from Egyptian authorities in Damietta governorate, Al Bawaba News reported. During the protest, MB supporters chanted anti-state slogans, as well as demanding the release of their imprisoned relatives. Unlicensed demonstrations are criminalized in Egypt according to the Protest Law, issued by interim authorities following the ouster of MB rule in July 2013.
