The resigned MP Serry Siam said that he did not attend the meeting of parliament secretariat's bureau, headed by Parliament's speaker Ali Abdel Aal, to discuss his resignation, Al-Bawaba News reported Wednesday. "My resignation is final and I will not retract it even if all the parliament's members rejected it," Siam told Al-Bawaba News. Sources revealed that Siam resigned in objection to the way "sessions have been managed" and his marginalization. On Dec. 31, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi appointed 28 parliamentarians including Siam, who previously served as the head of Egypt's Court of Cassation and the Supreme Judicial Council.
