Minister of Culture, Helmy al-Namnam and Journalists' Syndicate head Yehia Qallash attended Sunday the annual photojournalists' exhibition at Hanager's Fine Arts Hall, Al-Bawaba News Monday. Namnam said that the exhibition coincides with the journalists' Syndicate diamond jubilee celebrations, stressing on the important role of the syndicate. The minister added that images are very important because the news story without images loses its value, pointing out that photojournalists could lose their lives in order to complete their mission. During the exhibition, Namnam and Qallash honored the symbols of Egypt's photojournalism, as well as awarding a number of photojournalists.
