Giza criminal court resumes Monday, the first session of Muslim Brotherhood's supreme guide, Mohamed Badie re-trial, alongside 36 other co-defendants in the case publicly known as ‘Raba'a operation room,' Al-Masry Al-Youm reported. The defendants face charges of confronting the state, spreading chaos, and the attempted arson of police stations, private property and churches, after the dispersal of Rabaa Al-Adaweya and Al-Nahda sit-ins on 14 August 2013. The Court of Cassation has overturned death and life sentences against the 37 convicts, and ordered them a re-trial.
