Egypt's Minister of Foreign Sameh Shourky said on Saruday the responsible for the murder of Italian student Giulio Regeni will be brought to justice as soon as possible, Al-Bawaba News quoted Italian news agency (Corriere). The body of the young Italian was transferred to the Italian capital, Rome, late Saturday. Prosecutor General Nabil Ahmed Sadeq on Thursday ordered investigations into the death of Giulio Regeni to disclose stances surrounding his disappearance and murder as well as the signs of torture found in some parts of his body. A friend of Regeni, 28, indicated that he was a Cambridge University doctoral student and had won several scholarships. His research focused on trade unions in Egypt after the 2011 revolution. Initial investigations revealed that Regeni went for a meeting with a friend in down town Cairo on Jan. 25, the fifth anniversary of January revolution, but since then he never called or came back to his residence in Dokki.
